This is a four part time trial series up McBeth Road (approx. 3 miles, paved, 800ft of ascent) taking place on Tuesday evenings in June. Parking and staging at Spencer Creek Grange, 5 miles southwest of Eugene. Racers will start at 30 second intervals starting at 6:30pm on each Tuesday of the month.

You will have the option of a bike holder at the startline. 

Online registration will open one month before the first race and will remain open until noon each race day. This race is sanctioned by the Oregon Bicycle Racing Association (OBRA); OBRA members can wear their OBRA race numbers; non-OBRA members can pick up a number from 5:30-6:15pm. Please keep and use your number for the duration of the series if you are issued a number.

An annual OBRA membership is available at any time at www.obra.org, OR single event license ($5 for adults, free for juniors) is available with your entry fee. 

Wear your race number on your RIGHT side. A helmet must be worn at all times when on a bike.

Important Race Info:

Please be cautious in your descent after the race and watch for deer!

Be aware of riders in front of you. DO NOT RIDE WITH YOUR EYES DOWN. 

Ride as far to the right of the road as possible; safe passing is the responsibility of the overtaking rider. 

Drafting is not allowed. Crossing the centerline will result in disqualification. 

Registration fees are $15 per race or $55 for the 4-race series. 

Series standings will be based on the racer’s combined three fastest finishing times up the hill (racers may skip one race of the series or drop their slowest time to be scored in the series standings). The top ten racers in the series (open and women’s) will receive awards. The two riders with the fastest one-night open and women’s times of the month will be awarded special prizes. 

An awards celebration will take place following the final race.
